About this Event
Enjoy communing with gentle goats while engaging in a fun, light-hearted practice taught by a certified yoga instructor. Connect with your “inner kid” while moving through an all-levels practice; suitable for first-timers who ”just came for the goats” as well as experienced yogis looking for new challenges!
Our Nigerian Dwarf kids will open your heart, widen your smile, deepen your stretch & strengthen your core as they weave thru class, interacting with each participant; nimbly jumping on, rebounding off, trotting under & crawling through various postures of the human playground created by attendees.
Not your typical yoga class...
Bring your love for animals and your sense of humor!
Your Goat Yoga ticket includes:
- Goat Yoga taught by a certified instructor
- Petting, playing & photoshoot with the goats
- All-day admission to the park! Explore 127 acres of plants, natural landscapes, wildlife and historic buildings.
Grab a bite to eat at the Peacock Cafe after class!
What to know before you go(at)
Please wear something that protects your skin in case a goat jumps on your back.
Hoodies, hats & hair ties are recommended for those who prefer not to have their hair nibbled on by goats . . .
Remove loose jewelry before participating.
Bring drinking water to stay hydrated.
Please leave behind anything you'd rather not have climbed on, nibbled on or blessed by goats!
Fortunately, the goats are vegan 🌱 and their “blessings” (AKA droppings) are dry, coffee bean-like, and virtually scent-free. Some even say they're good luck... If you are blessed by a goat, buy a lottery ticket 😂 tell us how much you win! We'll have sanitizer and disinfectant on hand to clean up goat-related messes as they occur.
Some of our goats fancy themselves as artists who like to carve designs into yoga mats with their bottom teeth. If you'd rather not have your mat autographed by a goat, bring a towel to throw over it, or rent a used sanitized yoga mat from us ($5 each, see "add-ons")
By purchasing tickets to this event, you agree to defend and hold harmless Michelle Tritten in the event of any claim that arises from attending this event. There will be a release of liability for all attendees to sign before participating.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult and have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver on their behalf, before participating.
We recommend that participants weigh at least 70 lbs.
About us
Michelle began her journey with pet goats in the eighties and yoga in the nineties- back then she would have never imagined that two of her greatest passions would dovetail into one activity on Earth Day of 2017. Since then, she has been trotting around the greater L.A. area sharing the joy of goats.
Her goats have been invited to several notable locations, including the L.A. Arboretum, The Gamble House, The Jonathan Club, UCLA and more. Whether it be for a yoga session, sound bath, hiking, river walk, play date, creative workshop, or to visit senior communities and schools, the adventurous nature of the Hello Critter goats inspires them to jump into their “barn on wheels” to visit places most goats will never see!
She recognizes each of her goats (Roscoe, Floyd, Billy, Burlap, Fanny, Lil'bit, Gigi, Felix, Hansel & Gretel) as highly intelligent, curious, funny, brave, and social animals with individual personalities. Their daily needs are met to ensure that they are healthy, happy, well-cared for & deeply loved. Visit our website to learn more about them. www.hellocritter.com
