DISCOVER THIS TRULY UNIQUE NIGHT OUT! Our customer satisfaction rating for the last 10 shows, 9.5 /10. Thank you to all those guests for making this haunting event a huge success! We urge you to get your tickets as soon as possible! These events typically sell out in 5 or 6 days. Seating requests ten days to a week before an event are rarely fulfillable. All events prior to the date of this event are sold out, priority seating for groups of 4 or more. *Due to adult content and graphic crime scene photos, this event is recommended for ages 16 and older.

The Old Stenhouse Roadhouse Landmark Building has a rich history of mystery, mayhem and multiple murders, not to mention the spirits that still roam our old 1920's authentic speakeasy building. There are 2 “Travel Channel, Dead Files tv shows”, a movie pilot, podcasts, “A COAST TO COAST” live radio interview with 2 authors out of 7 books about the history and ghostly occupants of the building over the past 100 plus years.
“THE TRAP-DOOR BAR” opens at 5:00 PM for our guest bootleggers to start checking in.
NEXT, WE DINE WITH THE GHOSTS IN THE ORIGINAL “1920’s SPEAK EASY CAFÉ ROOM”
BIG AL’S BUFFET Dinner begins at 6:00 pm sharp and includes the following:
FLAPPER GALS SALAD BAR: Huge bowl of crisp chilled chopped lettuce, several dressings and our own famous homemade Buttermilk Ranch dressing, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, tomato wedges, cottage cheese, macaroni salad, 3 bean salad & croutons.
BIG AL’S FAVORITE, “HIDE-A-WAY BBQ RIBS:” Hearty BBQ rib slabs, deep rubbed with our own special seasoned brown sugar and molasses mix, then slow baked to perfection for 6 hours, proportioned and served.
UNCLE FRANK’S “SECRET RECIPE” DEEP FRIED CHICKEN: Uncle Frank’s old world homemade secret batter mix gives each piece of deep-fried chicken a thick crispy hug. DO NOT ask Uncle Frankie for the recipe! If you do, watch your rearview mirror all the way home!
MAD DOG’S BOYS FAVORITE: Deep dish Baked Meat Balls Italian style without pasta. A standalone favorite for meat lovers. Can be easily served with or without the hearty mozzarella cheese toppings. Gluten friendly. (ALL MEALS INCLUDE GARLIC BREAD)
CHEF MARIO’S DEEPDISH PIZZA DE JUR: This evening it’s up to Chef Mario? He just loves to make deep dish pizzas! We never know what he’ll come up with! Want a clue? His favorites are cheese - sausage and pepperoni and chicken ranch pizzas topped with bacon!

***To keep ticket prices to a minimum, gratuity is not included, but welcome!
Your meal also includes non-alcoholic beverages with comp refills. Ask your server for adult beverages, they are available for separate purchases. (Average polled value, of our buffet, n/a drinks, dessert and tax $57.00-$67.00)
YOUR EVENING EVENT AGENDA:
1. Trap-Door Bar opens at 5 pm. Ten Course Buffet including dessert, served at 6pm sharp.
2. An eerie historical murder & mayhem ghost guide to view as you dine. The guidebook will include a pen, your own rap sheet/crime report of victims who are still haunting our old building. (All guidebooks and crime reports are to be turned in at evenings end)
3. After dinner oral review of the Haunted guidebook highlights.
4. Break for guest browsing and photo opt of haunted rooms and antiques on main floor, including a collection of over 350 miniature illuminated stagecoaches.
5. “The Coach Light Theater Room” presents a video preparing you to meet our resident ghosts, followed by a slide show of other ghostly photo anomalies. All the photos were taken by our guests or our security cameras revealing our unearthly residents’ images and mirror portal tunnels.
6. Guests inquiries. Your evening is emceed by former Oregon mayor Mike Arians, HOST OF THE TRAVEL CHANNEL’S DEAD FILES TV Episode, "THE OBSESSION." Mayor Mike is also the central character in several paranormal books including “MARY JANE’S GHOST,” by Pulitzer Prize winning Chicago Tribune Reporter Ted Gregory, "SILENCE THE DEAD" by Shamus award winning nominee, crime series author, Jack Fredrickson, “BLOODY ILLINOIS” BY Troy Taylor, “GHOSTS OF NORTHERN ILINOIS” BY Steven Osborne and the recently released book “MARY JANE AND THE MAYOR.”
7. The Haunted Basement Museum Tour. This tour includes the mysterious 1920's haunted mirror portals, original bootleggers bloody butcher shop, trap doors to bar & stairway to nowhere, illegal booze shipping/receiving room, bloody fingerprints on the ceiling, the peculiar bleeding little girl mannequin, gangsters gambling in the secret poker room, 1920's cabin guests shower & potty (A long haired blonde welcomes your photos as she still bathes in the shower to this day), These haunted oddities are all stashed away in our hidden cellar.
8. Guest photo opt. There are 2 authentic roaring 20's Tommy guns on the gun rack, guests are welcomed to use them to take photos with Big Al to get the gangster’s feel of what it was like back in the day. All actual haunted oddities are stashed away in our hidden cellar. Your Roaring 20’s costume/attire is welcome!
*(IMPORTANT!) During your basement tour if you feel the urge to leave the area, PLEASE ADVISE YOUR GUIDE BEFORE DEPARTING! There are two guests from a prior tour that are still unaccounted for?
9. Last, each group returns to the “Coach Light Theater” room to complete their haunted crime report sheet and turn it in to your hosts, along with the ghost guidebook.
10. Visit with your hosts about your experience.
CELL PHONE CAMERAS & HANDHELD GHOST DETECTOR DEVICES ARE WELCOME! Over the past several years photos that have been taken throughout our building have revealed ghostly disembodied images!

So that a personal touch may be given to all guests our shows only seat 25/30 people. Do not wait too long to make reservations! Unfortunately, we have been forced to turn away some VERY disappointed folks who delayed booking this seasonal outing.
This event (including dinner) takes approximately 3.5 hours. If you are attending with someone else who has booked separately under a different name, please notify us in advance so that we may seat you together. We give priority seating to parties of 4 or more.
*BEWARE! Due to the popularity of these shows, unfortunately we have had people fraudulently sell tickets to this event. Before you purchase tickets from anyone except The Roadhouse through our "Square" credit card link, please message us to verify the tickets are legitimate. These scammers typically use PayPal & personal messenger to facilitate the transaction. The Roadhouse will not hold any responsibility for tickets purchased elsewhere.
