IV. Invited countries
Romanian Federation of Radio Amateurs is pleased to invite ARDF teams, individual competitors and guests, from all Balkan countries (South-East European countries), to visit Romania and to participate in the 1st South-East European ARDF Championship 2023 and 16th Balkan ARDF Championship 2023.
Balkan countries (South-East European countries) : Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey.
Athletes from other countries than those mentioned can participate outside the competition. A separate ranking will be prepared for them.
V. Accommodation:

VI. Expected weather
In that period of the year the temperatures during the day are normally 25-30 deg C and 14-16 deg C during the night.
VII. Visa requirement
EU citizens only require their national identity papers to travel to Romania. Citizens from most other countries will need a valid passport.
VIII. Event program:
June 8 (Thursday) - Arrival by 14:00, hotel check-in, sprint competition, dinner.
June 9 (Friday) - Breakfast, classic 144 MHz, lunch, free time, dinner.
June 10 (Saturday) - Breakfast, classic 3.5 MHz, lunch, free time, Awarding ceremony, Hamfest;
June 11 (Sunday) - Breakfast, foxoring 3,5MHz, awarding, hotel check-out, lunch, departure.
Competition format: All categories (from M14 / W14 to M70 / W65), unlimited number of
participants in each category, only individual ranking. The events will take part according the already traditional formula of the IARU World/Region 1.
Spectators / fans / visitors: Unlimited number.
IX. Awards
All competitors will bе awarded certificates for participation.
The winners will be awarded certificates and medals.
X. Entry fees
Three nights accommodation in double rooms, three meals in the hotel restaurant, hamfest, transport and participation in all four events:
175 euro/person, for competitors;
135 euro/person, for team leaders, official persons and visitors.
For competitors who do not participate in all competitions, the prices are as follows:
Accommodation and 3 meals: 45 euro/day/person.
Starting fees: 15 euro/competition/person.
Payment cash upon arrival.
