★IT'S TIME AGAIN!★The 42nd edition of the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige will open in Bolzano on June 28th. This year, the festival's creative approach shines at the Quartiere Ponte Roma, where an old factory hall sets the stage for a unique evening. Kicking off with brass and percussion, the evening will unfold with a poignant performance, dedicated to victims of domestic violence, complemented by a wild and melodic soundscape.
Continuing the tradition, this year's festivities will culminate with a techno event, presented in partnership with Hospiz Festival. (entry from 22:30)

The "Mass of Mary" by Maria Faust combines influences from the sacred music of the Middle Ages with jazz, contemporary music and Estonian folk and enhances liturgical texts with text collages. The "Mass" is dedicated to the victims of domestic violence.

Despite its name, this band from the Welsh port city of Bristol has nothing to do with the gentle lumbering of a hippopotamus. The band combines the spontaneity of jazz with electronic soundscapes, using analog synthesizers and effects to create a melodic yet untamed and wild sound.
