Chef Blake Jackson is a native Shreveporter who returned home to set his roots in the hospitality industry of Northwest Louisiana. Over the past twelve years, Blake has founded, owned and operated businesses in catering, bakeries, meal prep, valet parking, culinary consulting and a casual restaurant concept, Mae & Co.- with a fine dining restaurant, Heron, opening in November 2024. He fiercely believes in the abilities of our culinary community to make an impact, not just locally, but nationally.This free entrepreneurial event will continue with monthly gatherings at Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center in downtown Shreveport. Each gathering will feature a new monthly speaker and will allow entrepreneurs to gather, connect, work through business challenges, and identify opportunities in the community and beyond.
