Join us for an intensive one-day event designed specifically for Allied Health Clinic Owners (and possibly their Practice Managers) looking to take their clinic to the next level. The 1 Day MBA is all about taking action. The content we provide you is designed to be implemented straight away. There will even be some time built into the day to allow you to begin working on your plans for growth straight away!

Who should attend?

Paul Hedges - Head of Rate My Clinic and Management Consultant
Paul is an experienced management consultant and certified trainer underpinned by over 25 years’ business experience. He has held several senior management roles including State Director for Optus Business, Regional Manager for AAPT and State Manager for Dimension Data. In addition to running a successful physio clinic (Physio Pilates Proactive) with his wife Rachel, he founded Rate My Clinic to provide independent assessments of allied health clinics using unique industry benchmarks.
He has a Grad. Cert. in Business and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
J ames Meldrum - Executive and Management Consultant
James is the co-owner of a psychology practice and an executive for Early Start Australia, Australia’s largest NDIS registered paediatric allied health provider. He has 20 years’ management experience in many service delivery environments including disability, allied health, employment services, occupation rehabilitation, aged care, and community services.
He is a Non-Executive Director of Shine SA and Rate My Clinic. He has qualifications in business and is a Chartered Manager with the Institute of Managers and Leaders.
Philip Paysden - Executive and Management Consultant
Philip is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in workplace and allied health. He has a strong background in leadership, has led complex businesses with in excess of 330 staff and also guided a group of dental practices in their sale to private equity.
He has developed and executed a number of business turnaround strategic plans, developing strong client relationships, and driving operational excellence and financial performance. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an honours degree in Business.
Paul Edginton - Experienced CEO, Board Member and Business Owner
Paul is the Founder of CEO Advantage Advisory and Co-Founder of Digital Human Assistants Pty Ltd, best known as a professional Company Director, CEO, and career entrepreneur.
Paul currently serves on the boards of Digital Human Assistants, Bedford Group, and Skills IQ, and is a past board member of Vinomofo, SYC (Life Member), White Ribbon Australia, among others. In 2019, Paul was awarded EY Entrepreneur of the Year Central Regional and has received numerous accolades for his leadership.
Christopher Foster-McBride - AI entrapreneur
Chris Foster-McBride has founded several AI companies and has a strong commitment to supporting Healthcare, Human Services and small to medium-sized businesses aiming to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency across various sectors.
Chris' work in AI and Intelligent Automation focuses on Conversational AI, Digital Humans, and multimodal chatbots. With a rich background that includes over a decade at the Big4, notably in a global role for Data and Analytics, and serving as a Senior Policy Advisor for the UK government, Chris brings unique insights to businesses on the investments to remain competitive in the Age of AI.
Optional post workshop event
Given a number of attendees will be coming from interstate, we would love to provide the opportunity for networking and fun with other clinic owners. We will host a dinner on the Saturday night for those that are interested. This is of course completely optional and will obviously come with an additional cost. When you book your ticket, you will be asked your interest in attending the dinner. Once we have established numbers, we will provide further details.
