About this Event

What is Social and Therapeutic Horticulture and how can we practice it? Who can it benefit?

This workshop will look at how gardening can have therapeutic results. It will be of benefit to those interested personally in the use of horticulture as a therapy as well as professionals working with clients in a horticultural environment. We will look at the practical and theoretical aspects of using horticulture to improve well-being in different ways. Take a left at the T-junction. You will see a white sign board for us in front of you on the bank. This road becomes a track and, at a big green shipping container on the left, the track turns 90 degrees to the right and continues uphill. The track is bumpy, please drive carefully Continue up the hill and we are the first allotment on the right hand side.
