About this Event
Booking will close on Friday 1st November 2024 at 12 noon.
Due to limited resources we are UNABLE TO ACCEPT LATE BOOKINGS after this date.
This course will take place in Room 2F10 of the Dalhousie Building, Old Hawkhill, Dundee.
A book club with a difference – no pre-reading required, and no homework. These 2-hour sessions will be led by facilitator and local poet Andy Jackson who will read a short story and a poem to the group, followed by a discussion of each. The focus will be on reading for pleasure rather than studying, and as participants won't know which pieces are being read from week to week there is no need to prepare.
Tutor: Andy Jackson
Andy Jackson is a writer with four collections of poetry, and also editor of more than a dozen anthologies. He is a former Makar to the Federation of Writers Scotland and is a Royal Literary Fund Fellow.
