The Comic Asylum is hosting our next RCQ (Regional Championship Qualifier) for Magic the Gathering on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at 10:00AM (Store opens at 9:30)

This is a 2-SLOT Event and will have 2 Invites given out as we are a Premium Store. The tournament will be run as SEALED using Play Boosters of Modern Horizons 3- in a Competitive Format.
Access to the Magic Companion App are required. Please have it downloaded prior to arriving at the shop.
We will have John White as the Judge handling calls, & in-house staff helping with deck checks.
Sealed format run over the appropriate swiss rounds based on attendance & a Top 8 Single Elimination Booster Draft Playoff round.
All 48 Participants will receive 1 Copy of "Springleaf Drum" Full Art (Non-Foil) Promo Card.
Prizes*: After subtracting the cost of the product, Judges & Dreamhack Kit costs, 50% of the Pot will be paid out in Modern Horizons 3 Play Booster Packs to the Top 9 Players. The % Breakdown will be stated below.
1st-8th Receive a Non-Foil Full Art Goblin Guide Promo Card
If there are 40 or more Paid participants, then the Top 16 will receive the Non-Foil Full Art Goblin Guide
IE: 1st-8th Receive a Non-Foil Full Art Promo Card, so adding players 9-16.
1st & 2nd Place Winners Each receive 1 Foil Goblin Guide & Aprox 20% each of prize pot rounded down into number of packs.
3-4th: Aprox 15% of prize pot each rounded down into number of packs.
5-8th: Aprox 6% of prize pot each rounded down into number of packs.
9 th Place 2 % of prize pot each rounded down into number of packs - Consolation Prize
The Maximum Player Capacity is 48 People.
