Chroma - Eating with Colors
Join us for a unique dining experience at NOR - Asian Homecooking where we explore the connection between colors and flavors.
Part of dinner proceeds will be donated to UNRWA ??
Chroma is a cooking series by YP Wang where he takes dishes as blank canvases and paints them with an emphasis on vibrant, natural colors from ingredients. YP takes inspiration from Northwestern Chinese cuisine where he's from, mixed in with the colors and flavors he's tasted from around the world - aromatic, herbal, fresh, punchy and spicy. He's particularly interested in extracting colors and flavors from herbs and infusing them in oil or other condiments. He will prepare a 4-course vegetarian meal where he puts a colorful spin on traditional dishes from around Asia. As a graduate from Design Academy Eindhoven, he's always exploring different forms and formats of engagement, ranging from design to light to unique dining experiences.
