mono presents mono no aware, an exhibition by @kruelladenferOpening on May 2nd
6pm to 10pm
Schedule:From 02.05.2024 to 05.05.2024 3pm to 7pmfree entry
The world unveils a particular beauty when faced with endings. A gentle serenity that embraces memories and secrets from the past while paving the way for new spaces and future promises. MONO NO AWARE goes deep into that essence. Still, it does not become a grievance brought up by the end of a cycle that gives way to another, but rather the metamorphosis of all ephemeral things.
Most of all, the pieces presented capture the passage of time: there is a perpetual allusion to the changing of the seasons as an expression of melancholy but also of acceptance of the fragility of things. The exhibition invites you to contemplate this phenomenon. It is like a poem that tenderly addresses changes and endings, echoed even in the exclusive soundtrack made for the show.
Kruella's distinguishing shapes and colours are renewed, enriched with geometry and depth. The new range of techniques reflects the endless search for a cycle completed through transitions and marks an acceptance of new rhythms and perspectives on the world, but most of all, an acceptance of endings.
