We're kicking off the school year with our first PTA Membership Meeting, and we’d love to see you there! We’ll be voting on the budget and officer slate, sharing details on events already in the works, and welcoming your ideas for what’s to come.
Whether you’re already a registered PTA member or just curious and want to learn more, this meeting is open to you! Every registered, paid PTA member (who is present at the meeting) will be entered into a $25 gift card raffle, so don’t miss your chance! You can sign up during the meeting and still be entered!
PTA memberships help fund events, programs, and more throughout the year. Beginning August 1st, you can join online at www.joinpta.org (there is a $1.50 convenience fee). Just select David and Paula Parker Elementary in Sherman, TX when prompted!
Also, don’t forget! If you plan to volunteer at events or attend field trips this year, Sherman ISD requires you to complete a volunteer background check each school year. It only takes a few minutes! Complete yours here: www.shermanisd.net/volunteer
