📢CREWE PUBLIC MEETING- Racist riot in Whitehall: The new far right threat and how we can beat it📢🗓Thursday 2nd October

Saturday the 13th of September marked one of the biggest far-right mobilisations in British history, with over 100,000 marching behind the fascist Tommy Robinson. In the future, this will be remembered as a turning point; either when the far-right become truly ascendant in the UK, or when the left received a wake up call to match their resistance. History shows us that whenever capitalism is in crisis, fascist and far-right groups push forward to divide working people and weaken collective resistance. For socialists today, the danger is clear. From the repression of Palestine solidarity, infringement of womens’ and LGBT+ rights, to scapegoating of migrants and Muslims; the rise of fascist violence is not just a threat to minorities, it’s a threat to the whole working class.
We’ve seen it in London but we’ve also seen it in every town and city across the country, with protests outside hotels, racist attacks increasing, and the election of Reform UK MPs and councillors. We face an urgent need to organise and mobilise the antiracist majority here in Crewe as well as elsewhere.
