🧬 Local Orange Beach resident, Shreve McWilliams, is one of 430 people in the world diagnosed with the rare disease. CTNNB1 syndrome is an extremely rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorder caused by changes, pathogenic variants or mutations, in the CTNNB1 gene causing major gross motor and speech issues.
🙏🏻 The international and U.S. based research teams are so close to a gene therapy clinical trial and pharmaceutical cure but desperately need funds to continue the exciting progress. $4 of each Botox unit sold will go to fund research to cure CTNNB1 Syndrome through 501c3, CTNNB1 Connect and Cure.
