ALL FREE CommonSpot Clothing Swap!Stop by anytime 1 to 5pm for free clothes!
How it works
🙂 Show up. Find clothes you love. Take them home for free. It’s that easy!
👕 Donating clothes is easy but not required! Either text (607) 323-7768 to schedule a drop off and we will organize your clothes, or show up at 1pm Sunday and distribute your clothes into the various labeled areas.
🛍️ Also, donate your extra reusable shopping bags! We’ll have a stack by the door to leave your extras or grab a bag for shopping.
🕺🏽 The CommonSpot’s private offices will become changing rooms.
🎶 There will be live music and other fun-having.
💗 Items left over after the event will be sorted and donated to relevant community organizations prioritizing (1) organizations like the Women’s Opportunity Center that support people in need, and then (2) other clothing swaps or events that enrich our community for free, and what’s left will be donated to (3) local non-franchise thrift stores like the Ithaca ReUse Center.
How to donate
Types of clothes
💛 PREFER: Fall & Winter clothing. Got jackets, hoodies, sweaters, gloves, and other warm clothes that you don’t wear anymore? Let’s get them to people who would love to wear them!
👍 YES: Professional or casual, masc or fem, clothing accessories like purses and tie clips, and clean (ie, washed) but wrinkled is totally fine.
👎 NO: Musty, smelly, stained, or needing repair. If you pull it at of the attic and it smells musty, just run it through the wash.
