We would like to invite you to our Easter Monday Fun & Friendly Show at Thorpe Meadows. A variety of classes, in-hand and ridden with (hopefully) something for everyone to have a great day out!Schedule as follows:
🐴 INHAND 🐴 from 10am
Class 1 - YOUNGSTOCK - 3yrs and under
Class 2 - BEST TURNED OUT - Open to any horse/pony and is judged on correctness, cleanliness of horse and handler.
Class 3 - NEW COMBINATION - Horse/Pony & Handler in their 1st INHAND season together (may be split Junior / Seniors)
Class 4- BEST CONDITION - any age, to be shown in-hand. This class may be split based on height if there are sufficient entries.
Class 5 - RIDING CLUB, SPORTS & ROR - Open to any horse or pony suitable for all riding club activities. Judged on suitability, manners & turnout.
Class 6 - MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND - Open to Dartmoor, Exmoor, Welsh, Shetland, Fell, Dales, New Forest, Connemara and Highland.
Class 7 - IN HAND COBS - Traditional & Heavyweights
Class 8 - OPEN HORSE / PONY - Open to all
Class 9 – VETERAN - Over 15 years
Class 10 - GET FANCY FOR EASTER - Wear your best matchy-matchy outfit or Spring themed fancy dress (only £5 per entry!)

🐎 RIDDEN 🐎 not before 1.00pm
Class 11 - BEST TURNED OUT - Open to any horse/pony and is judged on correctness, cleanliness of horse and rider
Class 12 - LEAD REIN - Rider to be under 10 yrs on 1st Jan. 2025 To be shown in snaffle and lead rein attached to the nose band.
Class 13 - BEGINNERS (walk and Trot only) - open to competitors new to showing this season.
Class 14 - NOVICE (Snaffle Bridles & No Spurs) -open to Novice riders/horses. Will be walk and trot in the go around and walk, trot, canter individual show piece. A class for genuinely novice horses, ponies or riders.
Class 15 - MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND - Open to Dartmoor, Exmoor, Welsh, Shetland, Fell, Dales, New Forest, Connemara and Highland.
Class 16 - OPEN COB - Open to any cob horse/pony to be shown hogged or natural
Class 17 - EASTER EQUITATION - Collect the eggs in your basket on a short obstacle course, open to all competitors including lead rein. Judged only on the riding ability, may split class depending on number of entries.
Class 18 - OPEN PONY / HORSE - open to all
Class 19 - VETERAN -15 years old and over.

Rosettes to Sixth place - Maybe some extra Easter treats too for those that catch the judges eye!
Classes are £10 each.
Entries close online : 6pm , Friday before the show.
IF you have pre-entered at least one class, you can add more on the day.
