🏁Stock Car Division🏁
You must use the official Rats Nest Ratwood Derby kit. We will have them available for purchase, we can ship them to you or they can be purchased on site at Rats Nest Run In. We are going to keep them very affordable less than 10 bucks…..
For this division, the axles, wheels and wheelbase must remain the in the “factory” location.
There can be no additions to the body only removing of material. (This does not include the addition of a driver, which we welcome!)

Guidelines
Stock Class
This will be the kits that were available from Rats Nest Run In, they can only have what was supplied in the kit, with no modification to the aerodynamics. No weights can be added, and no weight can be taken away.
Open Class
Pretty much what it say! NO RESTRICTIONS! CUT, WELD, FABRICATE!
Rules (I hate that word, but we do need some guidelines for racing!!
Will race Eliminations style. I will post a sample Bracket for you to check out.
Each winner goes on to the next round.
We do rounds until we get a winner!
We will do a losers bracket also, everyone will get to run twice…..
Schedule of Racing
Thursday ALL DAY Test and Tune Open Track
Friday ALL DAY Test and Tune Open Track
Saturday 11am First Round of Stock Class
Noon First Round of Open Class
1pm Second Round Stock Class
2pm Second Round Open Class
3PM All remaining Rounds of Stock Class
4pm All remaining Rounds of Open Class
We will also have a Ratwood Derby Car Show that will be judged by our team! So have fun with the build and remember…THIS IS FUN!!! If the Boy Scouts can do it….Us Rat Rodders can do it!!!!
🏁Open Division🏁
There are no rules for this division… you can use one of our kit. You can use one of your kit and you can literally build it from scratch from any material and use any wheels and tires that you choose. If you’d like to race it down the track it would need to meet the width requirement for the tires to fit in the channel. We will post that once we have the dimensions of the track.
