🎃Halloweiner Walk at Sutton Park🎃Midland Dachshunds normally organise a walk the last Sunday every month. Hannah, Mark and I will be taking our trio to the Midland Dachshunds Sutton Park Walk on Sunday 27th October.
🚘FREE Parking:
Park up before 11:00.
Parking Directions: Enter Sutton Park via the Town Gate. Drive past the children's play centre on the left, carry straight on over the speed humps and cattle grid. Park in the car park on the left.
📍Usual Meeting Point:
Visitors Centre (heptagonal building)
Town Gate,

Arrive before 11am and be ready to start walking at 11am.
The walk is about 3 miles with some uphill walking. Some Midland Dachshund Walkers go at a pace but we are slower paced walkers. There is an ice-cream van half way, with a seating area to allow for a pit-stop. 🍦☕️
There is plenty of space for our VIPs to walk on or off the lead. Sutton Park can be busy with walkers, cyclists, runners and families with small children.

🐾Dachshund Temperament:
Dachshunds have a tendency to be a little noisy and standoffish with strangers. Walkers (especially children) will need to be prepared for barking and territorial behaviour and be able to take this in their stride, during the walk.
🐾Remember when around dogs, never:
Make sudden movements, loud noises, scream or yell.
Run or stamp your feet
Put your face close to a dog’s face.
Tease a dog.
Ignore a dog’s warning growl.
Touch a dog you do not know.
