The LUMINOUS Lantern Parade returns on Friday 31 July 2026, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you at South Bank Parklands!
Join us ahead of Multicultural Queensland Month with a night full of colour, culture, music and community spirit. ✨🌏
Schools, organisations, community groups and cultural performers are all invited to join us! Bring your friends, family or community group and be part of one of Queensland’s biggest multicultural celebrations as we welcome new Queenslanders.

🕓Meet at the Wheel of Brisbane at 5pm (The parade starts 6pm)
🥻Dress: Proudly Wear your traditional Kustom cultural outfits from your specific Island that you descended from or an ASSI jersey to wear your heritage.
🔥Bring your Australian South Sea Islander Flags to proudly wear, wave and fly high and any cultural musical instruments such as the conch shell! 🐚
