Albuquerque is GREEN CHILE CITY, but who REALLY has the best CHILE RECIPE? 🌶🤔 It’s time to put your chile to the test in our ultimate Chile Cook-Off!
🔥 COMPETE IN ONE OF THREE CATEGORIES:
🥩 BEST CHILE CON CARNE (Red or Green)
🥦 BEST VEGETARIAN CHILE (Red or Green)
🌡 HOTTEST CHILE (Red or Green – NO capsaicin oil extracts allowed!)
⚠️ RULES TO COMPETE:
• One entry per person per category
• Must use locally sourced chile 🌱🔥
• Pre-registration required (walk-ups may not be accepted)
• Sign in upon arrival
⚠️ Judging (special guest judges tba)
* Chile is judged on its color, aroma, consistency, and taste
* Chile should look appetizing and have a good meat-to-sauce ratio
* Chile should taste like chile
* Dishes may be prepared anonymously
* Chile can be prepared in advance
* Contestants may be asked to bring crockpots
* Chile may be cooked on site on the day of the cook-off
