Join Viki for a 2-hour immersion into the Ashtanga primary series. Warm up with sun salutations then move through the standing, seated and floor based postures that make up the set sequence of the primary series. Including pranayama breath work and a well deserved Savasana. Modifications will be given for each posture, with a focus on listening to your body while moving through the sequence safely and mindfully. Suitable for yogis new to ashtanga, some yoga experience is recommended. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
More About Viki:
Viki is from Edinburgh and completed her Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India, where she spent a month studying asana, pranayama & mantra alongside yogic anatomy & physiology. Viki believes that yoga is for everyone regardless of age or fitness level and supports the benefits for both mind and body. Viki loves wild swimming, hiking in the hills and getting outside in the countryside whenever possible.
