Born in Abingdon, Virginia, Kelsey Rae Copeland grew up in the heart of Appalachia. Currently based in Nashville, Tennessee where she performs regularly, she mixes tradition and old school Country 'twang' with a hint of gothic darkness. She is a veteran of The Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion having performed the festival seven times. Kelsey Rae Copeland is a rising name in Contemporary Country, Honk Tonk and also has a Heavy Metal ballad, “Sinister’s Widow,” she produced with Brent Purgason; formerly of GWAR.
