🎤 Discover the rich depictions of Border culture in Tom Lea's art with Tom Lea Fellow Mariana Riestra Ahumada. With a background in English and writing, she will explore the complex representations of border culture in Tom Lea's literary works.
📖 Her presentation will culminate in a short poetry reading created by her—a creative response that honors Lea’s legacy.
🎼🥗 Also, enjoy a special performance by El Paso Opera inspired by Mariana’s presentation while enjoying light bites.
