Please join us as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Oscar-winning Director and JMSC Director Professor Ruby Yang's award-winning film, My Voice My Life. The 2014 documentary follows a group of underprivileged Hong Kong youths taking part in a musical production and their journey of self-discovery. Co-hosting with Lee Hysan Foundation, a Strategic Partner and Sponsor, this event will feature a screening of and the sequel,, as well as a discussion with the director and the main cast.

Supported by LHF and L Plus H Creations Foundation, MVML is a powerful testament to the transformative power of character education via the arts. It follows a group of underprivileged Hong Kong youths who embark on a voyage of self-discovery through taking part in a musical production. As these youths confront their personal challenges, be that low self-esteem or blindness, the documentary chronicles each of their unique journeys.
MVML has garnered global recognition and has been featured in over 20 film festivals. It was selected by film critics societies from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China as “Top 10 Chinese Language Film of 2014”. It was awarded the 2015 NPT Human Spirit Award at the Nashville Film Festival.
