This highly anticipated concert includes a rarely heard live performance of Max Richter‘s haunting "November" for solo violin and orchestra performed by Fort Smith Symphony Concertmaster, Er-Gene Kahng. Following "November" is the beautiful Concerto for Tuba and Orchestra by British composer Ralph Vaughan Williams, performed by Fort Smith Symphony Principal Tubist, Ryan Robinson, showing off the beautiful lyric qualities of the tuba. After intermission, the mighty Symphony No. 2 by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius will be performed. This amazing work has long been recognized as one of the great symphonies of the Romantic era. It includes one of the most epic finales of any symphony ever composed. Hearing this program live is an event not to be missed. After Party hosted by the Bakery District
