Giving Hearts Day is a vital fundraiser that helps the Red River Zoo care for our animals and maintain daily operations through the winter months. With rising costs for food, heating, electricity, and medical care, this year’s Giving Hearts Day is especially important.Every gift matters. Every share helps.

Starting January 31, join us in the Admissions Building for special animal ambassador encounters:
• Saturdays at 10:00 a.m.
• Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
Stop in, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, meet one of our animal ambassadors, take a photo, and help us spread the word. The Admissions Building is warm and cozy, so no need to worry about the weather!
Giving Hearts Day Celebration
On Giving Hearts Day, we’ll be hosting animal encounters and sharing videos every hour. Pop by the Zoo or follow along online to cheer us on and help make Giving Hearts Day a success.
