Calling Dorset's digital, design, and tech people! Let's swap the project plans, code and creation for a post work wind-down at Syd's Slaps, Southbourne. If the idea of being plied with cooling bevvies, delicious food and a handsome helping of chat with new (and old) industry pals appeals then grab a ticket before they're all snapped up.
⚽ Football Crazy? ⚽
The event coincides with the England v Denmark Euros match. So we're setting up a big screen, creating the fan zone and opening the doors early, for anyone who wants to watch the game! So now you don't have to choose if you love Speak Easy or footie more! And sharing the highs and lows of a game is a perfect way to get to know people!
If football isn't your thing, don't worry. There's a 100% football-free zone - which takes advantage of Syd's Slaps great outdoor space - where you can bask in the sun, sip cocktails and have great chats in the traditional Speak Easy way.
And when the game's all over at 6.45pm, the two tribes can join up and we can all speak easy late into the night.What Speak Easy's all about
- Hang out with your peers: Make genuine connections with fellow BCP creatives, freelancers, and industry veterans in a chilled, pressure-free setting.
- Stir up food for thought: You never know who you're going to meet at a Speak Easy! A new friend might open your eyes to the greatest idea you've ever, ever heard of...

Team building exercises? Not tonight... Our friendly organisers will be there to break the ice, introduce you to anyone they think you might have a bunch in common with, and ensure everyone feels welcome.

- Who's invited: Everyone in the BCP creative and tech scene (designers, developers, artists, project managers, UX'ers, and more!) Uni students on relevant courses and people in the market for a career change are welcome too.
