Join us for a hands-on community event focused on tackling tire waste, promoting creative reuse, and building a cleaner, greener Denver Harbor.
With the support of Houston Public Works and Harris County Waste Management, you’ll learn how to properly dispose of tires and household waste, explore innovative ways to repurpose old tires into beautiful gardens, and help gather data that can power future improvements in waste services. 🛠️🌿
🛞 What's Happening:
- 🗣️ Guest Speakers — Learn from Public Works and Waste Management experts about what you can and can’t throw away or recycle
- 🚛 Tire Drop-Off — Safely dispose of unwanted tires on-site at our designated collection trailer
- 📈 Data Collection — Help us track waste to support future advocacy for better waste management services
- 🌻 Creative Reuse — Discover how tires can become eco-friendly planters and gardens that brighten up our community
