Author Caroline Biggs' talk in early May was so popular we are offering those who missed it another chance to hear about her book ‘The Spinning House’ which was published in March. Caroline tells the true story of the unchaperoned women arrested and imprisoned in the Spinning House – Cambridge University’s private prison and House of Correction. The talk is free, but donations in support of the library are welcome and Caroline will have some copies of her book for sale. There is no need to book for this talk which will be in the Community Room of the library. Having an author talk on a weekend morning is a first for us. Come and support the library and the author.
