To create high-quality and appealing children’s literature in Gujarati Matrubhasha Abhiyan organizes "Bal Sahitya Shani Sabha" on the first and third Saturdays of every month. In these sessions children’s literature writers and poets present their unpublished works and creations to other new and experienced writers of children’s literature. These works are then discussed openly so that through constructive feedback and suggestions exceptional creations can be developed. This effort aims to provide the next generation of children with excellent literature in the Gujarati language. So far a total of 185 successful "Bal Sahitya Shani Sabha" sessions have been conducted.

તમને ખબર છે બાળકો માટે કવિતા કેવી રીતે લખાય?
બાળકો માટે ગુજરાતીમાં ઉત્તમ પ્રકારનું બાળકોને ગમે તેવું બાળસાહિત્ય તૈયાર થાય તે હેતુથી માતૃભાષા અભિયાન દરેક મહિનાના પ્રથમ અને ત્રીજા શનિવારે "બાળસાહિત્ય શનિસભા"નું આયોજન કરે છે જેમાં બાલસાહિત્યના લેખકો અને કવિઓ પોતાની અપ્રકાશિત કૃતિઓ અને રચનાંઓ અન્ય નવા તેમજ અનુભવી બાળ-સાહિત્યકારો સમક્ષ રજુ કરે અને પછી તે કૃતિ ઉપર મુક્ત મને ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવે છે જેથી ચર્ચા અને સકારાત્મક ટિપ્પણીના અંતે ઉત્તમ કૃતિ તૈયાર થઈ શકે અને આવતી પેઢીના બાળકોને ગુજરાતી ભાષામાં ઉત્તમ બાળ સાહિત્ય મળે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં કુલ ૧૮૫ સફળ બાળસાહિત્ય શનિસભા યોજાઇ ગઈ.
આપ પણ બાળસાહિત્ય સાથે સંકળાયેલા હોય અથવા બાળકો માટે કંઈક લખવા માંગતા હોવ તો બાળસાહિત્ય શનિસભામાં આપનું સ્વાગત છે.
