The next $5 5K is set for Thursday, September 4 at 6 pm! September’s beneficiary is the United State Air Force Academy Mississippi Parents’ Club. Their primary goal is to support and encourage Cadets from the state of Mississippi as they work through four years of rigorous military and academic training at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. They also support and help educate parents who are new to military life and provide critical scheduling, event and logistical information, which is unlike any typical four year university. For those of you new to the event, grab $5 and your friends and come walk or run a no pressure 5K (3.1 miles)! ALL PROCEEDS will go straight to the USAFA MS Parents’ Club! If you don’t want to do the whole 5K, you can turn around and head back at any point. You can even just come for support and don’t have to walk a step!
