Hollybrook Golf and Tennis Club is proud to present our 1st Hollybrook Classic Film Festival! This film festival will be running all summer long. We will be screening Scarface (1983) on Friday, 6/28/24.
Scarface is a 1983 American crime drama film directed by Brian De Palma, written by Oliver Stone, and starring Al Pacino. It is a remake of the 1932 film of the same name, in turn based on the 1930 novel by Armitage Trail.
It tells the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana (Pacino), who arrives penniless in Miami during the Mariel boatlift and becomes a powerful drug lord. The film co-stars Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Robert Loggia, Míriam Colón and F. Murray Abraham.
It is considered one of the greatest gangster films of all time and cult classic.
Movie will be shown in the Hollybrook Playhouse.
Doors open at 7pm
Movie starts at 7:30pm
Admission is $1 cash at the door.
Concession stand will be selling popcorn, candy, soda, beer and wine.
